It has been almost a decade...

It has been almost a decade since I was last here, and I must say, the club has changed quite a bit! I remember paying the cover, then walking down a long hallway that turned left onto the dance floor. Now, the hallway has been removed and the entrance is through a beaded curtain directly to the left of the door.

Dancers seemed friendly, but seemed a little disconnected to me. I had a couple of dancers approach the high top table I was sitting at, but didn't really catch my interest. A simple, "wanna dance?" had left me uninspired to take the leap.

After watching a few stage shows, a pretty brunette (a little too thick for my liking) came up to me and started a conversation. I obliged and had a great time talking with her. I didn't think she was going to ask me for a dance, so I was getting ready (mentally) to tip her for my time. Finally, she asked if I'd like a dance and asked where I would like to go. Having been my first time here since they remodeled, I asked her for a tour.
