Might never go back.

I may be done with Columbia strip clubs. I figured that even with the downtrend over the last year, that a Saturday night might offer a good time. No such luck!

I won't go into the physical club except to say that parking is readily available and safe, and the cover was only a few bucks. The girls were generally okay - probably averaging 7 on a ten scale with one notable exception. After having a beer and taking in the sights for ten minutes, I saw an absolutely gorgeous brunette - way better looking than anyone else in the place. And as luck would have it she came straight to my table, sat down, and started making conversation. She was visiting from North Carolina; she normally danced in some club in the northern part of that state, and she was just visiting for the weekend. So after talking for ten minutes we headed to the back (2 for $30), and this is where the potential great times crashed and burned. Apparently the bouncer in back was also taken with the pretty brunette; he couldn't take his eyes off her. She seemed willing to play and have a good time, but this jerk camped out about 8 feet from us, leaning on the partition staring the whole time. We did a few dances hoping it would change, but after 4 dances I quit and left wondering why I'd ever bother coming back.

Maybe it's just me, but if I were running a club, I don't think I'd staff the back room with a voyeur to stare down my customers and ensure they never come back,. But what do I know? I do know that PP was once one of the best clubs in the region and now it sucks.
