The good, the bad and the ugly
This is a synopsis of two separate visits to the Flight Club, one in the afternoon and the other in the evening.
The good-- the evening visit featured the best line up of in shape, natural women that I've seen in quite a while at the Flight Club. If you are a fan of spinners, there was a good selection and a decent dancer to customer ratio.
The bad-- pricing during the evening. Initial prices for a trip to the VIP were uniformly high and unreasonable ($500-- really??). There seems to be some sort of dancer cartel operating to push prices up. Fortunately, the prices seem to drop with some negotiation and over the course of the evening as some of the dancers realize that $500 x zero dances yields exactly zero income. Dancers (and other service providers) have every right to set a price for their services but customers have every right to refuse to pay exorbitant prices. The problem with setting high initial prices is that it scares customers away and may discourage return visits. The relatively sparse customer base on my evening visit (and much sparser customer base on my afternoon visit) suggest that the Flight Club pricing strategy may have driven customers to other more realistically priced venues in metro Detroit.
