Why bother?

I have been to this club in the past, and have even given it a decent review, but it this visit was any indication of the current state of things there, why bother? If I had to sum it up in one word, I would have to choose "depressing". First of all, $20 cover - on a Thursday evening, with the place empty. This is Toms River, not Manhattan. $5, maybe. Now a positive note - you can BYOB - but don't expect them to bother to keep it cold for you or anything like that. Back to the negative, in that you still must buy one soft drink or water at the bar even if you do bring your own - and this is beyond the huge cover, mind you! Continuing on the negative side of things, I'm sorry to say that the talent (at least on the evening I visited) qualified as well. I am not generally a mean-spirited individual, but I would say that about 75% of the girls working on that evening should be advised into other lines of work. Maybe it was just a bad night, since I have been there when I might describe it as 75/25 to the good. I'm sorry, but if this is something I'm spending money on, I don't feel it is unfair to have certain expectations. Management here obviously does not, and must not rely on much repeat business. I'm seldom in this area, but will need to read a lot of positive reviews before I would consider returning.
