I stopped by the Acropolis about...

I stopped by the Acropolis about 8:30 AM on a Thursday to try their $5 steak and eggs with naked girls on the side. Sounds good in theory, but.....

After going in, past the guy sitting by the door who never looked up at me, I found my way past the upper stage, down the stairs to the stage in the bar/eating area. There were a few people playing video poker and three men and one woman sitting at a table, who I gathered stopped by in the mornings after getting off work. One dancer was lying on the bar, talking to another regular customer. After a while a new dancer came down the stairs behind the stage. She put her music in the stereo at the rear of the stage and started swaying to the music. The routine the dancers follow in the morning when there are no customers at the tip rail seems to be that they leave their clothes on unless they get a tip. I tipped a few dollars and got some boob flashes, but during the 20 minutes she was onstage she didn't get naked. Too bad the people at the other table weren't tipping. After 20 minutes or so, a dancer who had been on the stage in the upper level came down to the lower level, and followed the same routine.

The steak and eggs finally arrived. I was nothing to write home about, and not much hotter than room temperature. I used the men's room and was surprised at how shabby it was. I will say that when I told one of the employees that they were out of toilet paper he got right on it and filled the dispensers. I wish they had brought my steak that quickly.
