Slow Tuesday afternoon

I stopped into Nardones a couple of weeks back on a Tuesday afternoon, on my way back from the airport. I figured it was relatively close, so what the hell.

It is right off of Spring Street, with easy parking on the side. The first thing I noticed when going in was how big it was, compared to the clubs I am used to in New Jersey. The place could easily fit 25 dancers on stage. Of course, they didn't - there were only 3 dancers on shift, all latina (one brazilian, two spanish-speakers), and four patrons, including myself. There wasn't much of a tip parade, though I got the sense it was only because there weren't enough dancers to make it unbearable (that, and the fact that the four patrons were literally as far apart from each other as possible around the stage, so the dancers would have to do a lot of walking to get their $1 tips when not actually dancing.) I wasn't taken by any of the women, and so stayed for a drink and left. I may try the evening shift some time to see if it is any different.
