Long awaited visit

So I went in looking forward to a really great time at this place. It's the only club I read about where I thought I would have no trouble getting what I wanted, which was a good time on the side of the bar with everyone else minding their business. I went dressed inconspicuously as I could, figuring I'd be the only white guy there (not true, there was 2 eastern european patrons there). T shirt, sweat pants and sneakers. Most guys wore jeans and a t shirt. When I got there, there was a bouncer with 4 other guys waiting by the door. Asked if I could park where I did, they suggested I take it to the next block. After doing so, I walked in.

There's the long side of the bar that had one older latina bartender, the bar turns left and then another left and that's it. 3 sided bar with the wall of the outside providing the 4th part of the wall. The point is the place is much smaller than I envisioned. Once you walk in after that first left bar turn, there are two small circular tables with 2 chairs each, the bathroom and DJ booth and pool table, which had 2 patrons standing with a dancer bent over in front of them each. I sat by the 2nd turn of the bar. Furthest from the exit but an inconvenient high traffic area. There was about a 2:1 ratio of patrons to dancers while I was there. The dancers we're all shades of black and mostly all shapes and sizes. All are willing to talk about the menu, except one. I forgot her name but she had some restrictions. For what it's worth she was the most direct with me and appreciated that.

Now since this was my first time I didn't really know what the etiquette was to get what I want. Soon as I sat I got a young dancer who barely spoke to me, in fact she was asking for a food order from next door from another dancer basically the whole time she danced on me. I thought as long as I kept feeding her ones she was happy. I was in about 12 singles when she turned and said it's been 2 dances so it's $20. I quickly realized my error, paid her $20 and asked her to stop. I wanted to spend the rest on getting what I actually wanted.
