Last try

This is a review of two afternoon visits to Avenues.

Stopped in on a Tuesday in late April around 3:30 pm shortly after they open at 3:00. Sat down and saw the only other customer across the room. No dancers on stage and none to be seen anywhere else. Waitresss/bartender came over a took my order for bottled domestic. Paid my $3.75 plus tip and waited. In the time it took for me to finish the beer the only dancer I saw was one who came up the stairs from the VIP, ran to tell the bartender something and quickly ran back downstairs. Total time she was on the floor – 30 seconds. At 4:00 I decided to cut my losses and head to nearby Cracker Jaxx. This is the second time I’ve been burned when coming in early. If you’re not prepared to do business when you open at 3:00 then don’t open at 3:00. They now have two strikes. I decided I will give them one more chance in the future before calling a strikeout.

Returned on a Friday in late May around 2:00 pm. Sign on the door says they open at noon on Fridays. There was a 6-7 dancer on stage and a handful of customers when I entered. The waitress quickly took my order for a diet soda but took forever to return with my change from a $20. The next dancer up was more attractive with a slim athletic body. Went up to tip and she told me her name was Karma. When she finished she came directly over and sat down. She made it clear she is a “clean girl”. After we talked for a while we went downstairs to the VIP where you pay a $5 tax per trip and did a couple of $20 dances. Dances were excellent with plenty of contact.
