Carb day marathon, stop 1

I was on the west side for carb day at the track. Once the racing activities were over, I decided to check out Club Rio. I had not been there in 2-3 years, but had read a lot of good things here and on other boards. What a disappointment. When I got there, there was only one dancer and she was giving a lap dance at the far end of the club. When she was done, it was announced there would be a break, turned out to be 2 songs before she went on stage. In the meantime, at some point the waitress tore herself away from eating lunch in clear view of the club seating to see if I wanted a drink. I ordered a beer, 5.75' $7 with tip, but wondered if the Friday rib eye special was available. I was never offered anything to eat, maybe the waitress was eating it. The dancer came back, did her 3 songs, then another 2 song break before the DJ announced the second dancer was ready. I finished my beer during her time on stage and left. Needless to day, not in a hurry to go back to Club Rio.

Sad because I did have good memories of this place. When this building was first built in the mid 80's, it was the original location of PT's.
