Synn COI

Synn COI is about a 25 minute drive east of downtown LA with no traffic. I went around 10:00 on a Monday night, so getting there was a breeze. It was my first visit to the club, so I'll try to mention a couple of things I didn't notice on reviews going back the past month.

One cool thing I appreciated before I even headed out was that the club posts a real-time roll call on its website. There are reviews on specific dancers both here, and other places on the web, so for a newbie, this can be really helpful. You can cross-reference specific dancer reviews with the roll call and know ahead of time who you're looking for and generally what to expect, although as with anything, YMMV. I spent about an hour "pre-gaming" and checking out a dozen or so reviews on specific girls before I went to the club, so even though it was my first time there and I didn't get dances from the girls with the best reviews (Baby, Alessandra, Kimmy) I didn't feel like a rookie.

When I arrived I took the last space in the parking lot of the small strip center wherein the club sits. My spot was farthest away from the club itself and close to the Japanese fast food joint Yoshinoya in the strip center. If you're unfamiliar with the area, it's a hub for light industrial businesses (hence the name of the town - "Industry") and is pretty quiet at night. The parking lot feels fairly safe, and there was an attendant kinda-sorta monitoring the lot both when I parked and when I left. Parking was free, but when I walked to the building, he called out to me and asked if I had been to the club before. I lied and said yes, and he said "aiight cool, so you know the deal." I didn't know what he meant, but I never want people to know I don't *really* know the deal. Seems like a really good way to get taken advantage of. When I went inside the club, the bouncer/doorman came out to collect my $20 fee and asked the same thing -- hell, maybe they could tell I was a newbie! I lied to his ass too, and like the lot attendant he said "cool - welcome back!"
