My Favorite Tampa Club

In town on business and decided to hit the Odyssey on Wednesday night. Arrived about 10pm. I have been coming to this club for over 20 years and have seen it undergo quite a few changes over the years. While it is not an upscale club with fancy furnishings and there is no alcohol served, it remains my favorite club in Tampa. The first thing I like about it is that the stage is lit up nicely. Unlike many clubs where it is so dark you can hardly see the dancers, the Odyssey's stage is lit up like an airport runway. Its nice to watch a stage show where you can actually see everything. The second best thing about the Odyssey is that there are several options for privacy, ranging from the small booths to the right of the main stage, to "the space ship" upstairs, to the very private VIP rooms. I have tried them all and never been disappointed.

The girls working that Wednesday ranged from 5-9. Immediately after sitting down they approached me one by one. I politely declined, telling them that I wanted to watch the stage show for a while and then I would do private dances later. I did not want to choose the first girl that came along only to find out later that I missed a real stunner. After about an hour I had seen many pretty girls, but none that totally blew me away. I was approached by a girl name Heather. She had a big smile and long mostly blond hair (she had a dark streak down the very back). She had a killer body, so I took her up on her offer for dances in the lap area on the main floor. Her technique was excellent - slow and sexy with just the right amount of contact. In twenty years of getting lap dances, she is a top 5 finalist. After a short break back out at the stage, I saw a brunette (my preference) with the most captivating smile. She came over and started talking to me and I think she was pretty new to the business as she seemed a bit uncomfortable with the old lap dance sales pitch. She was making small talk, so I decided not to wait for her to get around to asking me if I wanted a dance. I just said, "let's go to the back and talk more there." She was a bit shocked at first and said I was the first guy that has asked her to go to the lap dance area, rather than her having to ask first. She was genuinely appreciative that she didn't have to go through the sales routine. Maybe she gets rejected frequently because she has small breasts and most of the girls at the Odyssey are well endowed. Luckily for her, I am a leg man and she was great in that department. I had a couple of great dances from her. I headed out about midnight as I still had a couple of days of work ahead of me. I'll be back Friday night for more.
