Great for a Quick Lap

I do not really get the great ratings that this place typically gets. It lacks most of the features that I am looking for in a club - the most important of which is a private encounter with a beautiful girls. At Mons everything is in plain view. But if you just want lots of contact for a reasonable price and don't care about atmosphere, then it is an OK place. I come to Tampa often, but had not been to Mons for probably ten years. I was headed back to the hotel after an evening of business related meetings and I did not have a lot of time, so I decided to hit Mons for some quick lap dances. If that is all you are looking for, then this is your kind of place. The club is basically laid out in rings. In the center is the stage. Outside the stage is a ring of tables and chairs, but not enough for a crowded night, so expect to stand during busy hours. The outer ring is basically a long bench that runs around the entire club. There were probably no more than 10 guys in the place that night and only a couple of us were getting dances, so I was able to get lap dances in relative seclusion in the back left corner of the club. But if you come on a Friday or Saturday night, expect to have a guy within two feet of you on either side getting a lap dance at the same time as you. When they advertise "Full Contact Lap Dances" they mean with the dancer and the guy next to you.

I got lap dances from two girls. The first was a tall thin blond girl from Brooklyn. She said she was of Russian origin. She really wasn't my type, but after chatting a while in Russian I decided to give her a chance. Got three dances for $60 and was pleased with the performance. When I got back to my seat, I saw a nice brunette on stage that was exactly what I was looking for. Her name was Angela, from Wisconsin and she was a solid 9 in my book. I didn't waste any time taking her back to the bench for five great dances. She is enough to make me want to stop in again. Although I would rather have met her at another club with at least some sense of privacy.
