Not worth the time

The neighborhood should have been the dead giveaway, but I wanted to check it out due to close proximity to my hotel and the advertised dance special ($5 if I remember correctly). Cover was $10. I went in, found a spot to sit (there were plenty of open seats) and waited for a cocktail waitress to take my drink order. 5 to 10 minutes went by, and no one came by to see if I wanted a drink. Considering there were only about 15 customers and 3 or 4 cocktail waitresses, this wait seemed too long for me. I got up and ordered a vodka and red bull from the bartender. I asked what types of premium vodkas they carried and all she could come up with was Absolut. Another dead giveaway but I was already inside. I took one sip of my drink before leaving the bar, right in front of the bartender, and it tasted horrible. I asked her if she could make me another one and she looked at me like I was an idiot, then looked at the open can of Red Bull and shrugged her shoulders and said something like "I don't know why it tastes bad". I said to cancel that and just give me a beer instead. She tried to charge me for the beer, saying I couldn't just exchange my drink like that. I refused, saying it tasted horrible and I wasn't going to pay $11 for the drink then $5 more for the beer. I left after that.
