boston options
If you are in the city of boston there are two options for clubs, and they are next door. Last time i was in town i decided go to centerfolds, attractive ladies, but stuffy and hands-off. This time I chose to try out the glass slipper. i'm not sure if there is parking, but it's close to the T and easy walk from beacon hill, or back bay or whatever. it seemed safe in the Saturday afternoon. going back into that area at night wouldn't worry me too much.
Going into the Glass slipper might though. It seems like the type of place where the thug factor might be high at night and on the weekend.
This club is small and dark. it is long and narrow, with benches along one long wall, and a bar along the other. The 'private' dance area is in the far back. The main stage is behind the bar. I've never seen that before. The benches are raised, so you can see the stage ok even if you don't sit at the bar. People throw their tips onto the stage sometimes missing and the bartender will pick them up and place on the stage. there are tv's at goof locations around the bar, and they has sports on. i watched that about as much as the ladies. The ladies were many shapes and colors mostly on the large size. by the looks of it it shouldn't be a regulars bar, but thats the feeling i got. I sat on a bench, and a dancer came over and sat with me and made some small talk for a few minutes, then said that if i wanted her to stay i needed to buy her a drink, which costed about $20! My beer wasn’t nearly that much, but I guess the owners make the girls hustle for fees. I said no, and she asked about a dance. She wasn’t my type, but I asked about it. She pointed to a lit area in back that had ½ walls around it, with a bouncer standing at the door. I wasn't interested so I didn't even get a price.
I would have been surprised if it was a decent dance with a bouncer watching.
