Better trip this time around.

Another NYC night, another stop at Rick's. Club was busy but not yet packed for a Thursday night (think we arrived around 9). Mandatory coat check. Friend of mine ordered bottle service which puts you in bench seating with table service on side of club, vs the open seating in the middle. Staff comes by often to check you have everything you need. The girls come to the table often, and the hustling starts quickly. 4 out of 5 ask you for a dance right away, and will ask when or two more times even after declining them before walking away pissed off. Each of us managed to find one or two that were nice to talk to. Had a couple forgettable dances with a Russian who's name escapes me, but also had very fun dances with a Latina named Pamela-- Nice body and great energy for multiple songs. My colleague also had her for a while and they also had a good time, easy conversation and good laughs. She was worth the trip.

I wish this place had a Rodizio option, where I could flip a little marker on the table when I needed a break from being sold dances momentarily. You will not go more than 3 minutes with a girl sitting near or on you and starting to sell. Sometimes you just want to finish your drink-or your sentence- without hearing the hustle. But otherwise this was a better trip to Rick's than my other experiences.
