Steak Restaurant with a Side of Stripper

I made my way to 1320 II after an extremely disappointing visit to Paper Moon down the street. The differences could not be more pronounced. Paper Moon has good curb appeal, while 1320 II has none. I've seen plenty of strip mall strip clubs, but the facade here is completely lacking. Most of it is boarded over with a flyer hanging on the wall. I wasn't sure until I tried the door if it was actually open. The club itself was clearly, obviously a restaurant in a former life. No cover, although there isn't really a reception area that they could collect one even if there was. The club interior in general is dated, but clean. The bartender was friendly and responsive, with draft beer being very reasonably priced. True to its restaurant heritage there is a full menu as well, churning out a objectively good (lower-midgrade) steak and sides, also reasonably priced.

The stage is on the opposite wall of the long bar, small but with mirrors to give the illusion of depth. There is one of those touch-screen jukeboxes on the wall that girls have to select and pay for their songs as they go, which makes for an awkward intermission between their dances. Speaking of the girls, they are a mixed lot, both racially and physically, their only unifying characteristic was the large amount of ink on each. There were no great lookers this evening, although this is preciously the sort of club that would have that diamond in the rough. There was a dollar parade after each girl performed her set (I made sure to at least cover the costs of their songs) but for me at least that was where the interaction ended. It was a slow night and some girls were chatting up what one must presume were their regulars. Others squandered their earnings potentials on their phones. In the corner by the door was what appeared to be a semi-private area for dances; it must have been where a large corner booth was at one time. Bathroom was a 5/10. ATM fee was $4 on a $200 withdrawal. I will go back on a busier night to see if the atmosphere changes from (a perfectly acceptable) older men's dive bar with strippers to a full-on strip club or not.
