It has been a long time since I was back in New York. This time I was here for a conference. I think this is one of the better clubs in the area. It is professionally run club with great staff and dancers. The DJ is pretty good and was playing mostly electronic dance music. The club has mostly young people and tourists that go there at least on this night. The location is also excellent. When someone said this club was mostly Eastern Europeans, I had the image of a place full of rail thin coke addicted whores just swaying back and forth on stage. The truth is there is a lot of variety at this club. As with New York in general many dancers are foreign born but from all over the world. This means UK, Australia, and Latin America are also represented. This is definitely not a "value" club, but if you are looking for value in Manhattan you have probably deluded yourself beyond the point of repair. It is probably best to have drinks before you walk over as $12 per beer is the norm here. I expect to back at some point.
