Lack of privacy but reasonably good time

Found myself unexpectedly in Bakersfield so I decided to check out Deja. It is convenient enough to get to. Cover was $10. Because I hadn't read reviews beforehand I was pleasantly surprised by how cheap the dances were (for those of us used to LA prices) but more on that later.

Initial impression was that the club is well maintained, restrooms clean etc. This is a nice big club so it is pretty easy to find a place to sit down as I did and get a chance to absorb the scene.

Being someone who likes going during the day and is used to being happy to see 5 dancers, the club impressed me because there were somewhere between 10-15 girls on shift on a random Thurs afternoon. Definitely a gal to meet anyone's tastes.

Given the lack of guys inside and the ratio of girls, I was approached very quickly. After a quick turn-down because I wasn't ready yet I sat and watched the dances. Soon another gal came up, started chatting and I decided to go for a dance. This is where I was pleasantly surprised and then disappointed. Having not read reviews I was unaware that in Bakersfield "nude dancing" refers only to being on stage. One on one dances are topless.

What I was impressed with was the price only $30 for 15-20 (can't quite remember) full minutes (its timed). The dances were nice enough and she did take me into the booth with the most privacy but the reality is high mileage is going to be tough because it is pretty easy for anyone to see what you are doing even in the one darker booth. Overall the dance was satisfactory.
