Night visit

This visit is from roughly a month ago on a Saturday night. I arrived around 10 PM. It appeared that business was still slow after the recent violence. Besides me, there were only two other tables with people. I thought that was surprising for a Saturday.

I got a domestic beer from the bar for <$4, and took a seat on one of the couches near the stage. I settled in for a couple songs and tried to see how many girls were working. I believe there were only 5. Eventually, one sat with me. I never caught her name, but the first thing she asked was whether I had drugs with me. That made me incredibly uneasy so I ended the conversation quickly. Unfortunately, she was the only attractive girl working that night. Since no one else approached me, I finished my drink and called it a night in less than an hour. Hopefully, the place has gotten better since this visit, but I'm not eager to return just yet.
