1st visit to Red Garter in 30+ years

Visited on a Saturday night entering around 10:30 pm and leaving a little before midnight.

Upon entering the crowd was light but it was a non event weekend in Indianapolis so not many people downtown. Entering the club you pay your cover and check ID in an entryway then open the door to enter club, Cover charge was $7. ATM is right by this door and the bar on the far right. Three stages with 2 in use this night during the visit. The Primary stage is mostly in center of room with charged VIP seating on the left. We were told $20 per hour for the 2 of us, so I'm assuming the are $10 per person. These are individual chairs not booths like at Dancers. Drinks were what I would describe as strip club normal pricing we had 2 mixed crown royal drinks and a domestic beer for $26 I think. Lap dance prices were $20 each. Dancers were OK but not knock out pretty, many tattoos seen and more pretty stripper than a pretty girl next door look. I think I may be becoming more jaded as to dancers looks and more likely to downgrade. My partner did find a blond with a pretty face, great personality and a thicker body to visit the back with for a series of dances.

Overall for me, I wouldn't make a special trip downtown to visit the Red Garter. But with free parking it's as easy as any other club to visit. Located on Illinois Street South of Down downtown easy access from the I70 on the south side of Downtown.
