The Monz still positively exudes a cornucopia like atmosphere. This sentiment is mainly directed at nightshift, but I really feel the same way about dayshift, based on composite of recent Thu&Su nite, Fri&Mo dayshifts. Walking in, I got the feeling that I'd wandered into girls locker room or sorority house, and the "girls" were glad to have me there. Make that no frills, $20CC all times, $2 non-alc drinks served in plastic cups, 35-50 women circulating around club in various states of undress, 5-6, as many as 8(1-2 on dayshift, though) dancing on single central octagonal stage. No waiting for Stevies here. No DJ, dancers pick their songs from jukebox, 3 songs to set, ALL full length, no clipped songs. Music volume at pleasnant level, except near jukebox. LD padded benchcouches located along left wall, with additional smaller, 2 sided benchcouch on right side of club, 1 side facing stage, other side facing mirrored wall. They're out in open, that's not big issue with me, except in thinner crowds whereby "rocks & spectators" tend to plop themselves. Bathroom is cramped, truckstop-like, actually gets bathroom troll during peak nite hrs. Club is non-smoking, no food service, a stamped hand(visible mark flourescent light only) gets you back inside after indulging in particular urge. Several food est. within walking distance. ON TO IMPORTANT STUFF!!! // DANCERS: Nightshift dancer attractiveness range 5-9.5, mostly 7-8.25. Mostly Cauc. some Latin American, Asian, Black/Mulatto. I would say that a good 2/3 of dancers are short, and/or petite. There were a couple of 6 footers, no "widebodies" here. Dayshift had fewer# of dancers(7-9), but more favorable dancer/PL ratio. Grade 5-8 on Fri, 6-9.5 on Mo. Several day dancers may be north of 30, but have good offsets like large natural breasts, and accomodating attitude. //// LAPS: Posted price is $20-$30, but multiple dance discounts of 20-25 clams/dance (more like $25) can be had. Who can get just one dance here, especially with mostly moderate 2-way nude mileage. No noisy DJ hawking 2fers, its a sweet young thing doing the sell job. //// UNIQUE FEATURES: There's no set transition hour, many dif. dancers coming& going between 5-10pm, with peak activity 9-10pm. 3 ATM machines near jukebox have $200 limit, and $3 transaction fee, less painful than some other clubs $4-$10 fees.//// BOTTOM LINE: Monz is much like Dodge Viper, the "drive" (and dancers) makes you forget about no frills club, inadequate parking, and other fancy clubs.
