Paper Moon Visit

The previous reviewer indicated that this club has free cover charge on Wednesday, but I visited last Wednesday (5/11/16) and it was $12 to get in. I arrived at around 10:30pm and it was dead. With all that being said, they do have specials from time to time, but from what I've observed it's not on a consistent or weekly basis. Clubs in Richmond aren't anything to write home about (pasties, dances over-priced), so make sure you lower your standards when you go to a club in this area. However, the dancers at this place are as pretty as you'd find anywhere else and they most certainly beat out the dancers at places like Richard's and some of the other Richmond clubs.

There are 2 Paper Moon's in the area, but I like the set-up of this one more than the other one. This club has one stage with 3 poles. The other club has a completely different set-up (2 stages far from each other) as far as the stage, and in my opinion, it's not nearly as good, but I won't get into that. Anyway, I sat down for a while and eventually grabbed a beer which cost me $5. The atmosphere was pretty dead, as there were very few PL's and hardly any of them were tipping. I wasn't all that surprised because I was there on a Wednesday night. Despite how dead it was, there were plenty of dancers working and most were attractive. Mostly white girls, but I did see one black girl, one Asian, and a couple of other girls who appeared to be non-white.

I sat back and sort of checked out the lineup for a little while. Some of the dancers will stop by and say hello. On weeknights they are generally more willing to sit and chat with you for a while, because there's usually not many PL's in the club, so they don't have anything better to do. I tipped a blonde by the name of Alice and she came back to talk to me for a little while. She explained a few things about the club and the "special" they run every 30-60 minutes or so. Basically, they do this thing called "The Showcase". They bring all the dancers onto the stage at once and for the next 3-4 minutes you have an opportunity to buy one dance and get the second one free. So you get two dances for $60.
