Not bad for DC

Came to Crystal City Restaurant after a few disappointing experiences with strip clubs in the district. The venue is nice, really close to metro station so no need to worry about parking, and not in a bad part of town either. I came during happy hour, so beers were $3 for 12 oz, $6 for 22 oz., and a decent selection of cheap appetizers. This is actually one of the cheapest places I have eaten in the DMV, which is crazy for a strip club. Servers were nice as well, not too pushy for tips, and there was plenty of seating space.

There are plenty of spaces to sit near the stage. I sat in the nonsmoking section, but there's a smoking section as well, and the same dancers cycle through them both. There were probably about 15 dancers on hand on a Thursday night. There's a small stage in each section, usually with one or two girls on it, and a small tip rail area. It was empty and not enough guys at the rail, so the girls were making their rounds to all the tables after their sets. The sets were usually about a song or a song and a half, which is kind of short.

After eating, I posted up at the tip rail, and I had a great time! Aside from a few of the regulars who came up to slip some twenties into g strings, not too many other guys were throwing money at the dancers, so you can get a lot of attention for just a few bucks. No real contact, which is expected in this town unfortunately, but after dropping a couple singles on the stage the girls were really appreciative. Most of them focused their attention to me at the stage, which was nice. I had hoped that there was a side room for private dances, but I couldn't see one, and nobody brought it up.
