I've been coming to the Columbia clubs (Platinum Plus, Platinum West, and its predecessor, Heartbreakers) about once/month for the past 10 years - always in the afternoon. In the beginning, it was a lot of fun. There were plenty of girls, some were very good looking, some not so much, but at least you had choices. There were also customers. Now there are neither.

On this day, I got there in mid-afternoon. There were 4-5 dancers, 4-5 customers, and no excitement. I'm guessing the evening/nights are better, because the dayshifts can't possibly pay the bills. The guy is still looking out in the dance areas and that's got to have a negative impact on the activities. It's a good thing I'm getting almost too old for this stuff, because coming here is not what it used to be, and probably not too much for me in the future.
