Mons Venus

So at about 3:00 p.m. I found myself on Dale Mabry on the way to the airport, but my flight wasn’t scheduled to depart for another three hours. Naturally, I consider stopping at either Mons Venus, or 2001 which is only a block away on the opposite side of the street. I decide to go with Mons Venus. I am not a big fan of no-alcohol clubs. The vibe just seems weird in these places, but I’m also not someone who drinks alcohol that early in the day, so no big deal. Plus, I have been to Mons several times in the past and the place, even early in the day, had been packed with customers and dancers. Not this time.

After parking in the free lot and paying my $20 cover, I enter to find out that I am the only customer in the place—I’m not exaggerating—I was the only one, and there were three, count ‘em, three dancers on duty, which were, thankfully, up to the usual Mons standards. They were all slender 8s: a Peruvian girl with fake tits, an AA from the Caribbean, and a tatted up white girl. I got my $4 soft drink and sat at the stage. Of course, as I was the only guy in the place, they took turns propositioning me for dances. There is a sign on the wall saying dances are negotiable from $20-30. I took the Peruvian up on her offer of $25 dances.
