Friday evening

I made a recent visit to this club on a Friday evening. I paid a $5 cover (might have been $7) and entered the club about 9:00pm. There were about a dozen dancers and maybe 20 customers.

Physically, this is a nice club. I like the layout, the place is clean, and the stage is fairly nice. The only complaint is that the rail is fairly high so if a dancer is on the ground, you can barely see her. The dancers that I saw were in the 6 to 7 range. Mostly white but a few AA.

I ordered a drink ($3.00 for a soda) and decided to sit at the rail and watch some dancers. I was the only one sitting at the rail, although a few guys walked up from time to time to tip dancers, and a few sat down for a minute or two. About 10 minutes after I sat down, a security guard started standing about 5 feet behind me, and never left. WTF? I was doing nothing wrong. I turned and looked at the guy, but he did not move. He just stood there. The dancers seemed to shy away from me after that - and I was the only one consistently giving out tips. I sat for about 45 minutes total and left. I did not need, and did not enjoy, big brother standing right behind me. Absolutely ridiculous. I doubt I will return anytime soon.
