Surprised at the Number of New Girls

Lots of new girls and from an eye candy standpoint, a few of them were hot and there were more spinner types than I have seen in the past. The down side is that they are new not only to DV, but likely also new to the industry. Lots of personnel changes in a short period of time.

Over the past few years DV has gone from near zero contact to moderate mileage. Likely this is due in part to local competition. Overall, DV is a good dollar value. I came in about 6:00 and left just before 10:00. When I arrived there were 8 girls working and when I left they were doing a lineup and I guessed that there were 25 or so entertainers. There were only about 12 PLs and one of the girls I spoke with said things had been slow the past few weeks. She works at the club almost 7 days a week and had just moved into a new apartment. She said the low turnout at the club made the deposit and first month’s rent was a squeaker.

The good news for the PLs is that they run what they call 241 or 341 specials almost every 15 minutes. The bad news is that the “specials” seem to be cut short of a full 2 or 3 dance periods. They had a live DJ, which is rare, and some of the girls said they did not like him. OTOH, he just made announcements and stayed on script for the most part, not attempting to make unfunny jokes or stupid remarks about the dancers on stage, so he wasn’t terrible.
