News flash for all you Twin Cities stripper hounds and anybody flying into MSP for business: This club has come back from the dead. It's still located right in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, so the danger you might run into people who disapprove of your "hobby" is high, but if you're able to dodge them, the experience at DG's will definitely be worth it.

The main reason I'm giving this a much higher rating than in my first review: the girls! Maybe it's cyclical or maybe management sensed the place was dying and dismissed the talent that was there, but there are a hell of a lot of new strippers here, nearly all of them coming here literally after they turned 18, and nearly all of them hot to trot. At the very least it is a significant upgrade from what was here even a year ago, and now I think it's on a par with all the other clubs in the area that are a notch below the King of Diamonds, the Seville Club, Schiek's and Rick's. (This is a perfectly appropriate time to type what's fast becoming a favorite quote of mine, namely that from the sage Matthew McConaughey character in Dazed and Confused: "That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age.")

Once you pick the right girl for a private dance on the far wall ($20 per in the booth, 3 totalling $90 on the beds), you get to enjoy the other great thing about this place: privacy. That manifests itself in two ways: no birddogging by the totally cool management and, best of all, *no cameras*. If you want to push the envelope with the right girl, DG's is your place. No question.
