Updated review

Ye Olde Axe appears, from the outside, to be nothing much. It looks like a stereotypical East End boozer. However, that all changes once you are inside. Regardless of who's there, it's a lovely pub. It's reasonably ornate, it's Victorian, and it is beautifully designed. To put in bluntly, you'd want to come in here even if it wasn't a strip pub. Most places around this neck of the woods have been trended up, but this is a proper pub.

With strippers.

Ah, yes, the strippers. That's the reason why we're here, isn't it? Well, there's some good news. They are excellent. You get a very sexy, proper, intense lap dance for your £20. And it usually goes a long way. Most of the girls here seem to be Eastern European (it seems like there's a fair few Romanian girls here), although there are some Brazilian and home grown ladies. There's a good range, too - whether you like petite girls, or curvaceous ones, or young-looking ones, or Milfs, or blondes, or brunettes, or black, or far-eastern, they're all here. And they do a great job. There's a good number to choose from, too (although I'd recommend turning up some time after 2pm, because it is rather quite before then), and it doesn't get too crowded in the daytime. There's a chance there'll be as many ladies offering dances as there will be people who want dances, so you should be able to take your pick.
