Velcro took one for the team last night.

I hadn't been to Paris since 1994. So nice to go back and see my old friends there: the same carpet, the same paint, the same posters, the same lounge chair (eugh!).

The dance is still $60, but you get less for your money than anywhere on earth, outside of the clubs on the Rue Ste. Denis in Paris and the Lingerie Theatre in San Francisco, which duke it out as the biggest ripoffs in the world. The girl was very very friendly, very very large, and very very far away. In fact, she won't get within two feet of you without another $60 tip. She was nice (Christiane was her name, a bubbly blond with hips like a horse), but she wasn't anyone I wanted to see nude.
