Not so hot

I went to Secrets on a Sunday night in mid April. I've probably been there half a dozen times over the last couple of years and not much has changed on first inspection, but it feels like a slow steady decline in my level of interest here for reasons I'll try my best to describe. A few simple facts first . . . parking is easy and the facility is nice enough with the main dance area and bar to the right and semi private lap dance area to the left as you walk in. The cover was single digit $ and beer was under $5 as I recall. Dancers were mostly in the 6-7 range with a couple pushing 8 out of 10. Not much different in looks from prior visits, but the naughtiness factor seemed to be missing. I don't need an 'extras' club but I do expect to enjoy a good teasing interaction, some seduction with some anticipation of a good time in the back. What I got was a total absence of chemistry. I did private dances with two dancers who seemed most attractive to me but neither one did much for me. The first was fairly pretty but no personality whatsoever, and once in back she explained "no touching" anywhere of interest. The second was a petite, high-energy type. She was full of energy but she could have been doing aerobics in front of a mirror - no seductive quality at all. Maybe I've been spoiled by places like Wackos and Follies, but the clubs in the Carolina's from Columbia to Raleigh don't seem to offer much fun anymore.
