Very impressive

Arrived at Cocoa Beach late in the evening for a business trip and was looking for an interesting way to finish the long day of air travel. Drove down to IR around 9PM and paid the $7 entrance fee.

Contrary to a couple of the previous reviews, I see no problem with the location or security. It is right on the main street and the parking is well lit and there was always either a club employee or tax driver in the lot so I never walked in or out alone. Never felt any threat of any kind.

I was a little surprised by how small the club actually is. The bar takes up most of the main room, the stage is to the left and all that is left is the small elevated dance area on either side of the DJ booth. The bar was always full of customers, never an open seat. So I sat at one of the tables by the stage and watched for a bit. I am used to tipping the stage dancers, just because they deserve something for their efforts, but I noticed that no one else did. Got a $5 beer and a free shot. Usually when you are offered a free shot it is a short pour of some bottom shelf liquor, but I got a full pour of Johnny Walker Red which I appreciated.
