First Time in Providence

So I've never been to another strip club in Providence. After a few drinks downtown a buddy of mine suggested we check out a strip club. Fantasies was the nearest one so I figured why not. First off, the place is very big. I'm not sure how it compares to other places but I was surprised at the size of it with two bars, a pool table area, and a decent sized stage. One touch that I've never seen in any of the clubs I've been to in Philadelphia and Tampa is they have these nice leather sofa chairs right next to the stage that you can sit in while the dancers perform. It seemed as if the people who sat there definitely got a better show than those sitting in the normal seats. The beers were alright but high priced for the area I thought (even if we were in a strip club).

The talent was very inconsistent. Some of the girls were beautiful and friendly, while others were standoffish. There was a punk rock looking girl with short hair who was awesome. Very friendly and a good sport about everything. She loved my long hair and kept playing with it long after I told her I wasn't interested in a dance. On the other hand one dancer came up to us right when we sat down and said "so am I gonna dance for you or did I waste all my fucking time here tonight?" It was just a super turn off...I understand you may be having a bad night but I'm there to have a good time. I received a dance by a Latin girl...again the name escapes me. It was alright but I felt a little short.

What bothered me more than anything was leaving. Again first time there...and nobody told me upstairs was full nude. The cover is obviously more but you would figure they'd want to market that a bit more. We laughed as we left...now knowing why it seemed empty when there was a parking lot full of cars. Next time we'll try upstairs and hopefully find better talent.
