Best of the weak San Diego scene

My 4th in final San Diego club during my trip (Thank God for Tijuana) was Goldfingers. I went around 8pm on a Saturday night. I had a free coupon for admission from their website, but I was charged $10 for my first two drinks at the door. OK....but when I just asked for a glass of water it was an additional $3. Soda was the only thing that $10 covered.. Girls were on stage for 2 songs at a time and almost all the ladies were above average. Their is a gap from the seats at stage to the stage so there really wasn't chance to tip on stage unless you just tossed the bills. Girls came around for their tip / ask for dance after their set.

After I did my quick walk around club, I sat down on couch a little off stage and immediately an attractive brunette sat down next to me. We had a lengthy conversation and I periodically tipped her while we talked. I guess that is not a normal thing around there as she seemed embarrassed and the second girl I chatted with acted surprised.... Both girls told me that dances were $10 a song but were air dances (only time an air dance is fun is if you are having sex with the girl later) or $125 for 15 minutes in a VIP room.. Neither option seemed real appealing to me so no dances...

I have to mention my one major complaint. They are obsessed about not even looking at your cell phone there. The guy when you walk in said multiple times about no cell phone usage. My phone buzzed in my pocket so I stepped outside with my phone and the door guy yelled at me because I took the phone out of my pocket while I was still inside the club (didn't take it out until I was by the front door which is away from any of the dancers).. Pretty lame...
