Disappointed

Was in vegas a few weeks back to bet on the ncaa final four and wound up hanging out at the stratosphere. For those unfamiliar with the stratosphere and surrounding areas, it is all the way at the end of the strip. The casino is 1-2 star at best out of a 5 star rating. It's strip club equivalent would be the Olympic garden, where the spearamint rhino would be the gold standard. Having gone to OG a number of years back and having a decent time, we decided to walk from the stratosphere to the OG. The walk was 15 minutes, but the area we had to walk thru was far from safe. There was numerous flea bag hotels and stores littered on our path. Personally I would not walk thru the area at nite, and I have had my share of rough neighborhoods.
