Getting into Tattletales can be a little bit tricky. It’s on Piedmont Road, one of Atlanta’s busiest main arteries immediately next to an exit for the Buford Connector. Going north on Piedmont, you have to be careful because you need to take a right into Tattletales and there are often cars exiting the Buford Connector just yards from the Tattletale entrance that may or may not slow down or yield. If you are heading south, you need to take a left, but the road is divided by a low concrete median. It’s only a couple of inches high, so you can actually drive over it if you want to, but that is risking a ticket (or worse if you have been drinking).

Tattletales has a small, cramped parking lot downhill past the building, but its well lit and safe. There is no parking fee, but there is a valet that expects a tip if you let him park your car. When I arrived about 9:00 p.m. on a Thursday the parking lot was mostly empty.

Cover charge was $10. Tattletales is a pretty small place. The bar is immediately to your front as you walk in. The main stage is also in front of you and slightly to the right as you go in. Years ago (many years ago) the main stage was a runway type stage that projected from the right wall. Now it is island stage and there is seating where the runway used to be. To the left past the bar is the tiny restroom, and past that there is a second stage, which was not used while I was there, and more seating. Along the left wall past the second stage is the VIP area.
