bargain visit

This is my second time to DV in two months. Before the last visit I had been there once before several years ago and sort of wrote it off. (Of course that was when HT was still open and was a much better alternative.) However, my last (second) visit was much better and based upon that I decided to give it another go. First thing I did differently was pre-printed the "free entry" coupon from the Web site. Yes, entry is free but you still have to pay an "entertainment fee" or some such. But, it's $10 instead of $20 and that gives you unlimited juice bar options. I don't have an issue with them charging me $10 for unlimited juice but be upfront about it. The guy in line ahead of me also had a coupon so the door guy I'm sure has to go through the same spiel a lot. This night it was a Wednesday night around 8:30. I was initially not overly impressed with the talent. Lots of 5-7's, mostly Asians and Hispanics. Not an 8+ in the house IMHO. When they did the stage call I could see there was about 20 dancers which I thought was not bad for 9 PM. There was one tall, blonde Barbie doll type named H***y. She stood out for the obvious reasons. I'd call her a solid 8 or 9. Following the stage call she asked me if I'd like to get the special. Honestly, and I'll say it was me, I could never understand what exactly the special was. 2 for $20 topless, I think. But, then I think on Wednesdays they were also have a 3 for $40 topless maybe. Anyway, it was a combination of her soft voice and loud music so I never exactly understood the deal itself. What I can tell you is that we went to the private dance area and had a very nice time. On the third set, or third $20 I put into the machine, her hands on attention improved significantly and I was a happy camper. There was never an upsell suggested or a menu offered. Then again, I never asked. Actually, I was quite happy with the attention my $60 got me. I decided to show my appreciation with an extra $20 tip. So, call it $90 for unlimited drinks, several topless dances, and a happy ending. Would definitely go back again based upon the last 2 visits. But, they were both very different experiences so I don't yet have a good sense of the repeatability of either visit (both of which were much better than my earlier visit years ago). The only other comment would be that songs seemed short in length. 2 minutes, maybe 2:30. Again, I was never sure of the deal I was supposed to be getting and was only vaguely aware when one song ended in the middle to be replaced with another. But, based upon total expenditure and result I have no real complaints.
