I visited this club on a Tuesday, arriving right before 6. Understandably, I landed right in the middle of a shift change, but hey, that’s fine. I chose this place based on the confluence of recommendations from the discussion board, prior reviews, and then a pure coin flip between chicago heights and harvey. Stayed here for 3 hours watching sports and chatting up the locals.

The club outside looks like an industrial warehouse and has zero curb appeal. The inside is moderately better, and reflects the typical dark light, red velvet captain chairs, cruise ship casino carpet (think black with laser swirls). There is a main stage with two poles, at least one of which is on ball bearings. Those ball bearing poles make for some great stage shows typically. There is a third stage on the side, which remained unused during my visit. Indeed, the main stage was hardly populated with dancers. There are some video poker machines on a side elevated area. The club also has a membership-only club within a club, which the dancers simply referred to as the VIP room. Definitely not the nicest club, but as I’ve been to possibly the worst club in the civilized world in terms of décor (Passions in NOLA), this place is just fine. In an adjacent room, there is a set of separate dance rooms, all lined up shotgun style in a long hallway. The rooms do not face each other and privacy is ensured by curtains of metal beads. Those are actually a neat feature because the metal bead chains are strong enough for dancers to grab and hold onto while dancing. There are also stainless steel ADA-style grab bars in each booth (like the bars you find in public bathrooms or hotel showers). I’ve not seen that type of arrangement previously, but it was an interesting, practical-oriented feature. There is one bar with comfortable stools.

The food was mediocre, but not bad. Had the chicken sandwich, not the burger.
