Little darlings

We stopped by last month because it was my friends b-day. My other buddy and I wanted to go elsewhere but the b-boy had the final say considering the occasion. We all agree (including the b-boy) that LD's has been in decline for some time . However, one of the b-boys favorites works there so he want to go there for her specifically not the club in general. Not surprisingly, he was the only one who had a good time. It wasn't dead but compared to how things use to be it was pretty close.

It's hard to pinpoint what exactly happen to LD's. Yes the management changed and some of best girls were let go (some left willing) but the biggest issue has always been the upcharge. When the club advertises $20 dances but girls quote double it is understandable why customers get turned off. Vegas clubs are already known as being expensive so naturally customers would start to look elsewhere. As an example, every so often the club would feature 2 for 1 dances but in my many visits I have never once had a real 2 for 1 dance for $20. The best I could get was 2 for $30 but most would only do 2 for $40. Some flat out said they don't do 2 for 1 dances at all. Considering most dancers charge $40 for one song, 2 for $40 was a deal in comparison especially when the talent level was better. So why is it that customers would pay for the upcharge price in the past, yet somehow still leave happy but when they do it now they feel scammed. Only thing I can think of is the talent level. Now that the talent level isn't nearly as good these issues are exposed and more noticeable.

The decrease in talent means LD's can't get away with upcharging like they use to. This leads to unhappy customers feeling like they didn't get their moneys worth. That and the lower quality makes it less likely for a customer to return, plus word of mouth leads to less consistent money in the club, which in turn leads to the hotter dancers leaving or starting off elsewhere. Stuck in a bad revolving cycle.
