Dead thanks to the Economy and pushy dancers

The Mrs. and I walked in around 9:30 on a Saturday night, expecting the place to be full. Instead there was about 10 people in there and no one sitting by the stage. Cover was $9 for me, and drinks weren't too expensive. We had been sitting for about 20 mins when one of the dancers sat down beside us to chat us up. Normally we like to chat with the dancers (as the Mrs. was a former dancer herself) but this girl would not stop talking about how much she hates having to ask for dances and how hard it is to make money as a dancer because there is a lot less people coming to the clubs due to the bad economy.

She didn't take the hint that we were trying to watch another girl on stage, and just kept talking to us when we were not even looking at her. I felt bad, but I'm not buying a pity dance from you especially when everything you say is negative. NOT SEXY! We went to the club to have a good time, instead we walked out after 40 mins because this dancer wouldn't leave us alone. We made up an excuse that some friends were at Diamonds, so we were going over there. She got mad when we were leaving and told us that, "if you think its bad here, those girls are 10 times more pushy for dances." Didn't really care what she was saying after that, we just left.

When the economy picks up again, we might go back. But until then, I think we'll stay away.
