Back to a Familiar Haunt

A group of us went to the Jet Strip where I usually have a pretty good time. This wasn't one of them mainly because the lineup of girls was small and not up to the usual standards. A guy in our party asked one of the girls why certain dancers weren't there and was told that each had left and that the club was having trouble getting girls in to work. I could believe that. At one or two points during the hour we were there, there was no one to get up on stage and I think one girl had to take stage three times to fill the gaps.

Ordinarily, this is a great club. There's free, well-patrolled parking and admission is low. I don't know what it is because I get in on a free pass and unlike a Deja Vu, free means free, not free if you pay a $10 entertainment fee. There is decent food available and the mood of the club is friendlier than any other I've been to. The girls will sit and talk to you and there is no hustle for drinks and only a modest hustle for dances. When they have a good lineup of ladies, this is a great place but this wasn't one of those nights so we headed over to the Bare Elegance, which is about a mile away. The two clubs used to have the same owners until one had the other murdered. I've had business partners I wanted to do that to.

I will go back but I'm going to be more careful about checking the lineups first. I saw a review from someone else (maybe it was on this board) recently that they went there and were told at the door that no girls had showed up. This was in the evening. Based on our visit, I can believe that. No strip club is worth going to unless they have a selection on the premises. It wasn't empty on our visit but once I eliminated the tattooed and pierced dancers, it almost was for me.
