Showplace fun

Stopped by late on a Friday night, was in NJ visiting family. I used to visit it occasionally when I used to live in NJ, it has barely changed in appearance. Typical to other reviews of Showplace, the moment you walk in the door, the unoccupied dancers swarmed me like I was the last man on earth. Not a totally bad thing, but when you can't even get to the bar for a beer, it is a little frustrating. After I sat down and got my beer it was a parade by my stool. I prefer to check the place out for at least a few minutes before engaging the dancers, but was offered a back massage by an older dancer which was very good and probably about 10 minutes, not too bad for $20 and a couple of $1 tips for her time. After a steady stream of offers for private dances I went off with a very attractive young woman for a private dance. It didn't feel very private though, as the dancers kept talking to each other the whole time, so that was a bit distracting. Sadly, I don't remember her name, so I can't mention her personally, but she was engaging, energetic, and not shy in the least. I feel I got my money's worth for my visit.
