Cajun Club
I had been here once before on a kind of weird night, and wanted to try it out again, so I came back at a completely different time and day than my previous visit, but managed to have almost the same experience.
The club is across the river from Stillwater, at an intersection with a road that runs south to Hudson. It's fairly large on the inside, with a few separate rooms. The stage is in a large central room. The bar and a game room are across from the entrance, the curtained off private dance area is to the left, and there's a door to a semi-outdoor smoking room off to the right. The stage is flat, but there are two levels to sit at - one where the stage itself is your table, and one where you have a standard tip rail.
I rolled in at 1am after landing at MSP at midnight. There were 3 girls working, none really good looking, but none repulsive either. When I got there, it was just like before: no one was dancing, there were a few people hanging out in the bar, and the male/female patron ratio was about 50-50. Eventually girls started dancing, but it wasn't too exciting, and the bartender said they'd be closing soon, so they weren't letting anyone get any more dances. There wasn't any cover. I had a couple beers, which weren't outrageously priced, and tipped the girls who danced, and those two things were my only cash outlays for the night.
