Living the Life

Was in town 2 weeks ago to visit a buddy from grad school. This was not a trip centered on mongering, however my buddy knows me well enough to have included a visit on our itinerary. As my buddy has lived in MTY for most of his life, the vanity of mileage has worn off.

Poisson was the beginning of an evening spent down town. It was a relatively short (and cheap) ride from the Tec neighborhood.

The club is in a safe area of downtown. While I had visited back in grad school, the club has been remodeled since then. My previous recollection (from 10 years ago) was that of a nice sports bar... Where one could pay to play with hot Mexican dancers. This place has the design and layout of a traditional posh American club.
