In the cold hard light of day
I had read promising things in the recent posts and my friends decided to start our run of clubs at Dallas Cabaret North. It is closer to the north end of Harry Hines so we thought we could start here and work south. Turns out this place is more of an after hours spot. I probably would have known this had I done more research.
The club opens at 4pm, we roll up a little before six and there's a Latino guy sitting in a truck right by the door. His job was to tell people that the club was closed because they didn't have any dancers yet. He suggested that we come back after 10pm. Looks like parking might be a problem if this place ever picked up. The building itself seemed small from the outside, like it would have difficulty seating more than 50 or so if a fire marshall showed up. Gave a 5 for dancer rating and monetary value as it was middle of the road and in line with the current average for the club. Thus endeth this review.
