After I left 2001, I felt a disgust that people experienced with the lots of talk and no fun at the Key West VIP Gentlemen's Club; this is Tampa's version. $20 admission at the door. Then, went with a $6 bottle of water over an $8 Red Bull. Went for a VIP dance at the launch pad. The brunette with fake books promised a good experience, but $5 to the knuckle head troll just to go back there, and $30 for an air dance. One and done. Tried another launch pad dance with another decent looking dancer. She offered 2 for $60. I countered 2 for $50. Settled on 2 for $55, but had to pay $5 to the launch pad troll again so it wound up being 2 for $60. They were terrible dances as she claimed to be a germophobe. Then wanted to try what "made them famous," the higher levels of VIP. Offers were $300 for the "space ship"- a musky room on the 2nd floor of the club that had about ten dance cubicles covered by curtains, or $500 for the champagne room- both for 30 minutes. I went for the space ship- $75 to the house and $225 to the dancer. Also buy a drink for the dancer. The 30 minutes at least were not interrupted by the obnoxious DJ with his loud music, but the dance was just a 30 minute straight lap dance with nothing special such as no touching all over. I was told there were video cameras so that was not allowed. Went to the bathroom and met the bathroom troll who needed a tip for watching me piss. Then I watched some guy tip at least $1000 in singles to some ladies on stage who were very good looking- Paris (who seemed like a featured dancer AFAIK) and Heydon who wore fishnet stockings and a couple of other dancers whose names I forget. I wondered where the guy got all those singles from. What I noticed was that the hot dancers, and there were about five out of about thirty in the club, danced on the main stage but mostly did not come around asking for private dances. Some of the dancers who were asking to do the private dances were mostly not so good looking and never danced on the main stage so the dancer looks averaged out to 5. To summarize, $500 for basically an obnoxious DJ with loud music, second rate VIP dances, a 1970s small style club with flashing lights and smoke, a bunch of tipping, and big knuckle heads who did not stop someone from smoking ganja in the club- at least the DJ told him to get out. 14 straight years the best? pretty dancers- Mons; great dances- Scarlett's; total experience, Pink Pony; open robs- 2001, Tampa version of KWVGC.
