Cheetahs Pompano

Stopped by at 11:30 p.m. on a Thursday evening. Parking was $2, cover charge was $10. Upon entry found the place very busy. About ten feet past the entrance there is a large island bar with a small stage inside of it. Most of the spots at the bar were taken, but there were a couple of empty seats at the back of the bar closest to the entrance, so I sat down at one of them, ordered a $5.25 domestic beer, and surveyed the scene.

The bar has an upscale, but not luxurious appearance. It was smaller inside than it looked outside, and with the crowd the place seemed kind of cramped. Past the bar to the left I could see the main stage, and a smaller stage further to the left. Past the island bar to the right were the restrooms, and past the restrooms another smaller bar. Although my seat was in the far corner near the entrance and out of the main club area, I found out it was a pretty good spot because the entertainers dressing room was just past me to the left in the corner behind the entrance counter, so there was a pretty steady stream of dancer going back and forth, and a good number of them would stop by and say hello.

The girls here are very good looking and a lot of them, probably at least 50. I don’t think I saw anything below a 7, and there were a good number of 8s and 9s, maybe a few 10s, all dependent on individual tastes, of course. All of the dancers I talked to were Latinas, but they varied widely: svelte blonde spinners, voluptuous brunette bombshells, and everything in between. I didn’t see any AAs. Many of the girls had very limited English, others were conversant. Many simply asked “You want dance?” and moved on immediately if the dance offer was not accepted immediately, others would sit and chat for a bit (or attempt to chat in the case of the Spanish only speakers) before asking for a dance.
