The Green Door....Needs a Business Model Revamping

It took me a month to write this review but don't generally like to write bad reviews.. but after having "been there done that" in Vegas, we decided that one of the last few things that we haven't done was to go to the Green Door. After reading reviews on it, we have shied away from the place as we (my wife and I) were turned off about the idea of single men roaming the place freely. We've been to the Red Rooster and the ambiance there was different from the GD. Although there is a big contrast in the two, one would think that the Green Door would be better based on the themed rooms however it was quite the opposite. I absolutely liked the RR's laid back vibe despite the dated 70's theme and decor. The GD was set up more like an open space play area for millennials. There was too much of the stuff that didn't need to be there such has the glow in the dark pool tables.

Anyways, we drove by there Friday in the afternoon first to get an idea of where it is first. We don't like to drive around in another city in the middle of the night and not know where it is. Quite frankly, the parking lots looks like a western movie as the lot was empty and businesses to the left and right were shuttered. The alien building stands out like as sore thumb. Atleast now we know how to get there. We get there on a Friday night, were told that it was $80 for us which I thought was steep but we weren't going to turn around now. The bottles we were going to bring in, denied as we were told alcohol wasn't allowed. Wish we knew that. We get in and lo and behold, it was a cock fest. We saw maybe 4 other couples there but they were sitting and not really mingling with anyone else. Ok, we thought, let's go check the place out and see what this place is about. We go explore the place and there is a dungeon like area and a place to get your dom on. However the only problem was, no one was there to use them! Glass to watch others get it on...there was no one around to get it on! The place was empty. The horrible lighting made it even worse it felt like I was in one of those Hostel movies about to get murdered.
