I had heard a lot about the Platinum Club over the years, so I decided to check it out on a Thursday evening around midnight. The club appears to be a strip club at first glance, but it is really just a middleman for marketing escorts to clients; in Chile prostitution itself is legal, but brothels are illegal. The club is located in the basement of a shopping mall. I was directed by a doorman to take the elevator to the bottom floor. From there, I was assessed a 30,000 CLP entrance fee, but it included my first drink. Additional drinks are 15,000 CLP. In Chile, whenever you are given a beverage, you also get a complimentary cup of nuts.

There was always one dancer on a small stage with a pole at the center of the room. Eventually, a second pole on a balcony upstairs was put into use. A good portion of the room was taken up by a large runway stage, kind of like one you’d see at a Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Every hour there would be an elaborate stage show involving multiple dancers doing a synchronized performance in costumes. It seemed not all of the girls here participated in the stage shows or even on the pole. Some ladies only worked the floor. I am guessing the ones who did dance, also got some sort of compensation from the club for performing. All women were available for takeout.

The main reason I stopped by the club was to check out hot women from nearly every country in Latin America. I saw women from Columbia, Venezuela, Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Chile, Cuba, and Spain. The Columbian, Venezuelan, and Argentine women were almost all knockouts that also performed in the shows. The Chileans were generally single moms and the least appealing of the lot, but I am guessing most guys would’ve still banged them. Generally the more desperate women will approach you right off the bat, so if you want to chat up the hottest women in the club, move around and don’t wait for them to come to you. The suited employees will help you find a girl to your preferences, but they might hound you for a tip for any small service they provide you. I haven’t seen this many 10’s in a single strip club before, but loitering at Platinum Club, trying to watch the shows and stare at the women, is not economical with the hard sell and expensive prices.
