Trying Again

My friend and I decided to give Southern Xposure another try. It had been quite a while since our last visit and we were hoping that things had gotten better. I really don't think they have. The inside of the club could really use some cleaning and updating. Quite a bit of wear on the furnishings. While they still have several of the girls dancing that have been there for a few years, there were quite a few new, pretty girls. I have no complaints about the quality of the girls. My issue is with the way the club is being run. This is the only club I have been to in 30 years that makes me mad and that prevents me from spending money. I took 400.00 that I was willing to throw away that night. About the time a girl would sit down next to me and start talking, some guy that works there would come over and whisper in the girls ear and she would make her exit and start making the rounds to find someone to buy a dance. This happened several times until I finally got to the point that I did not want to spend any money there.

In every other club I've been to, all over the country, the girls are allowed to make their own decision as to when they should move on to try and make money. If I had come right out and told the girl that I wasn't interested in a dance, I understand moving along. Once we have started talking and I have bought you a drink, to have management pull you away is an insult to me.

I left after spending less than 70.00. Management costs the girls quite a bit of money that night. While I won't say I will never go there again, I will be hard pressed to. I will stick with the clubs in Daytona.
